Parks/Recreational Facilities

Join us each weekend for fresh apples and cider, hot donuts, a hayride and family fun.  The basic tour includes a video, walking tour of the facilities, apple, cup of cider, donut and a souvenir.  The Hayride Tour includes the Basic Tour plus a hayride through the Orchard.  The Pumpkin Patch Tour includes the Basic Tour plus hayride through the Orchard to the pumpkin patch.  Each visitor receives a pie-sized pumpkin to take home!

PARK AMENITIES
Indian Springs Metropark encompasses 2,215 acres of parkland at the headwaters of the Huron River, and is located nine miles northwest of Pontiac. Much of the park is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the natural environment. The park features an 18-hole regulation golf course, a nature center, a paved hike-bike trail, hiking trails and picnic areas. A state-of-the-art Environmental Discovery Center is under construction.

5,900 acres of forest, marshes and lakes. Rustic 30 site campground is available to campers with and without horses. Rustic cabin, picnicking, swimming, boating, fishing, hunting, volleyball. Nature trails. Riding stable. Miles of hiking, mountain bike and bridle trails. Three marked x-country skiing trails for the novice and intermediate skiers. A short drive brings you to the largest and most picturesque ski area southern Michigan has to offer. Bring the family. Our 25 scenic slopes serviced by 10 chairlifts and 10 rope tows offer the variety you have been looking for.

Two comprehensive, 98,500-square-foot community aquatic and fitness centers. Each has a competitive and recreation pool, a 5,000-square-foot fitness center with weight and aerobic equipment, a 1/9-mile indoor walking/running track and a field house designed for three sports events at once.
